Vintage Style Leaving Cards

Good morning!  Today I have two cards for the price of one to share with you!  I made these cards for two of my colleagues who left last month to move on to pastures new.  I love this Stempelglede sentiment from the Follow Your Heart set for 'Sorry you're leaving' cards.  

I have used Maja Design Celebration Papers for both cards.  The cards were cut with a Magnolia Doohickey frame die from Volume 13.

I have used some beautiful lace from Craft Heaven on both cards along with Scrapiniec chipboard pieces.

This piece is from the Spring Prodigy set...

...and this one is from the Mehendi Borders set.

I have stamped butterflies from Stempelglede's Vintage Baby and Have A Beautiful Day stamp sets onto coffee filter paper to adorn both cards.

I have also added small blue roses and larger white and pink roses along with some hydrangeas from my stash.

 I hope you like them both...

Butterfly Bookmark..

Hello everyone!

We have one last creation for this
A Touch of Charm
week to share with you..

Our DT Liz is here with us and she made this awesome bookmark for the theme..

She chose some Maja Design papers from the gorgeous Vintage Romance collection this time..

The two 12x12 sheets she used are the She's My Lady and Walk with Me one..

This awesome bookmark is so easy and fun to make..

Just a bit of layering and sewing and you have an awesome gift that everyone will love..

Of course besides the papers you will also need a round doily, an awesome sentiment like this one from the Stempelglede set Follow Your Heart,

a bit of lace like our Lace Véronique and Lace Juliane..

Than you can add some cheesecloth and a flower die-cut like this splendid Magnolia Doohickey called Hellebores

and a bit of Gesso, Stickles and Liquid Pearls to add some extra interest..

 

But that's not all..
There's a wonderful Big Butterfly Charm hanging on the outside..

Liz tied it to the bookmark with a bit of our awesome white Vintage Seam Binding..
And she added some Gesso on top of the butterfly too..

Now go gather your supplies and make one yourself..

All That She Wants..

Hi there!

Here we go with another creation Inspired by a 90's song..
The last one to showcase her work this week is our DT Liz..

She chose the awesome song All That She Wants by Ace of Base..

Inspired by the lyrics she created this wonderful baby card..
These gorgeous papers are from two Maja Design 6x6 Paper Pads..
The Vintage Spring Basics pad and the Vintage Baby pad..

The card's base was made using a GoKreate die..
The super awesome Heart Clip and Lace Veronique?
They can be both found in our shop of course..

Sleeping Baby Tilda..
One of the most beautiful baby motifs out there..
Liz coloured her with Distress Inks, added the little hearts here and there and did some stitching around her..
The wings and some parts of her dress are all covered with Stickles..

Liz also used some feathers, our gorgeous WOC flowers and Bead Berry Spray Clusters..
..and our little Buttons Charm..

This is a wonderful finish to our inspirational week, isn't it?

A new week is here and with that a new theme..

A Gift from the Heart..

Let's see what our lovely DT Barbara made for us..

Here's a stunning card made with the brand new Pion Design Easter Greetings collection..
This pastel colored collection is like a bouquet of springtime, and makes the perfect starting point for countless projects sure to delight. 

There are lots of different die-cuts on here but one of the most beautiful tags out there is the Magnolia Doohickey Dream Tag..
Barbara made a little hole in it and tied some White Vintage Seam Binding on..

The Lovely Flower charm is also hanging on there..

This lovely is called Mail Tilda..
She was coloured with Distress Inks..

The postmark and script are from a Stempelglede set..
The Post Card from Paris to be exact..

Barbara also used our Lace Veronique, some gorgeous WOC flowers and leaves..
..and the Decorative Foam Bouquets..
A light touch of Dina Wakley Gesso was added too..

So..
Our celebration goes on until February 20th..
