Chocolate Makes you Happy..

Hello there!

It's gonna be a great new week..
And you're all invited!

Think Spring..
Our new theme..
Here's what out DT Barbara made this time..

As you all know 8th March is the International Women's Day and this is a little something that Barbara made to say thank you to her kid's teachers..
Lovely, isn't it?

Oh yeah..
These three little boxes each contain(ed) a yummy chocolate..
Tell me..
Who doesn't love that?

She picked three different Pion Design sheets from the Where the Roses Grow and The Songbird's Secret collections and coloured three images..

She chose Have Dinner with Me Tilda from the Recipe Card Collection 2017 and decided to use different colours for each one of them so they would match the papers perfectly..
Barbara coloured them in with Distress Inks and sealed them all with a tiny bit of Distress Micro Glaze..

Then she added some postmarks around..
The two Magnolia sets used on here are called New York and Postcard..
She also used one from the Stempelglede Post Card from Paris set..

Then she picked some basic circles and scalloped circles and cut everything out..

She placed a doily behind that..
A bit of lace..
Did some machine sewing around all the paper edges..
Arranged some WOC flowers and Decorative Foam Bouquets on one side..
And tied everything together with our super awesome Vintage Seam Binding..

Congratulations! It is Your Day Today..

Hope your week had a good start!
Here we are with a new card from our super talented DT Barbara..
And the theme for this week?
Every Moment Matters..

Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try and this is Barbara's way to congratulate a very special lady for her latest achievements..

She made a gorgeous shadow box card and for that she chose the amazing Pion Design The Songbird's Secret paper collection..

Of course she just had to have a play with the latest Magnolia collection too..

This is You are a Star Tilda from the Lovely Emojis Collection 2017..

Barbara coloured this cutie with Distress Inks and added some shimmer to the stars..

Then she sealed everything with a tiny bit of Distress Micro Glaze..

This miraculous products really can make these projects last..

The flowers are all from our WOC range and there are some Decorative Foam Bouqets there also..
The wreath and leaves are cut out of the Pion Green I from the Pion Design Palette collection..
She used two Magnolia Doohickey dies for those..
The Parsley and Rocket Salad set and the beautiful Rosemary Wreath..

The quote is from the Borders 12x12 sheet and as you can see Barbara did a lot of stitching all around the paper edges..
Hints of Gesso all over the place and Liquid Pearls to add that pearly touch on the frame..

Picnic Tilda with Basket..

Hello everyone!

We are ready to show you our DT Barbara's gorgeous card for this week's

Bloom where You are Planted theme..

She chose a beautiful Magnolia die for the base and once again the fabulous Pion Design papers from the Where the Roses Grow and The Songbird's Secret collections..

The image is from the Recipe Card Collection 2017 and is called Picnic Tilda with Basket..
Barbara coloured her with Distress Inks, fussy cut both pieces and placed them on one of the Rounded Frames and Tags Doohickeys cut out of plain white paper..
The image is sealed with Distress Micro Glaze and the highlights were made with the Ranger White Opaque Pen..

She even put together a cute quote with the word strips of one of the Borders paper sheets..

There are lots of Decorative Foam Bouquets and WOC flowers such as Magnolias, Big Lily Flowers, Gypsophila flowers and more..
Two Rosemary Wreath Doohickey die-cuts behind the image..
A few butterlies and the magic is done..
