Sand.. Sun.. Fun..

Hello people!

Today's post is in a total Summertime mood..
Our dear DT Izabela says that every year she dreams of holidays by the sea..
Her dream will soon be fulfilled, but before that happens she wants to inspire you a bit with this beautiful summer card with a touch of sea and golden sand in a bottle ..

 Yeah.. Like the sentiment on the left says this is all about Summertime..
That is actually a part of one of the edge bands on the wonderful sheets that Izabela used..
One is called Playing at the Beach and the other is the Glittering Water..
Both from the latest Maja Design Summertime Collection that you can find HERE..

Izabela cut out some circles with these gorgeous images and played with the layers..
She added some fish and seahorse die-cuts.. A ship..
One thing I love about this card is that she added some extra colour on the papers with the Altenew Crisp Inks..
She used the Cool Summer Night Set..

Here's a close-up of the Vintage Seam Binding..

A Scrapiniec chipboard piece is peeking from under there..

And you can already see some sparkle..

Here are the gorgeous WOC flowers covered in glitter..
Izabela used tons of different kinds this time..
Her beloved Magnolias, Open Roses, Aster Daisies, Wild Roses, Sweetheart Blossoms and Cherry Blossoms..
The foliage..
Made with the Rose Leaf Doohickey and coloured with the Twisted Citron Distress Ink and the Altenew Inks..

Another gorgeous detail is the Mini Glass Bottle filled with ''golden sand'' that
totally screams summer and relax..

The first DT to showcase her inspiration for you is our Barbara..

She interpreted our theme literally..
The new Maja Design Vintage Romance collection is in our store and Barbara used the Forget Me Not sheet from that same collection..

She also coloured two gorgeous Magnolia stamps from the Spring Fever Collection 2016..
Watered Tilda and the Vintage Orangeri..
She created this beautiful scene and coloured with Distress Inks..

The basics to make a wonderful creation like this one..
A coloured image and some wonderful patterned papers from our store.. LOL!

But there's more..
Barbara used two marvelous Magnolia Doohickey's..
The Rose Leaf die and the Parsley & Rocket Salad for the foliage..
Our beautiful WOC flowers are there..
The Baby Blue Spriral Stamens..
A Mini Glass Bottle filled with glitter..
And the super gorgeous new Lace Rosalie..

She did some final touches with some Gesso, the Ranger White Opaque Pen, the Distress Micro Glaze and some Glossy Accents..

It's a Boy!

Hello again dear followers!

This week the theme is Shape it! as you know..

We like cards with interesting and unusual shapes, right?

So here's what our Izabela made this time..

She chose to use some gorgeous Maja Design papers from the Home for the Holidays collection and some from the Vintage Summer Basics 6x6 Paper Pad..
She used a wonderful die to shape this card..

 As you can see the card was made to celebrate the birth of a beautiful baby boy and it will for sure make a great gift..
The outstanding tag is a Magnolia die called Scalloped Tag.. Love it!

Our angel Izabela loves flowers of any kind but especially our WOC flowers range..
And I'm sure you noticed that by now..
The Gardenias and Cherry Blossoms covered in glitter are gorgeous..
And the Spiral Stamens are lovely too..

 Pay attention to the little details..
The awesome Baby Boy Resin Embellishment is just the thing you were looking for..

And what about the Mini Glass Bottle?
You can fill it with glitter, seeds, sequins.. Whatever you want..
Izabela chose some stardust..

 In the center there is a delightful Magnolia stamp called Delivery From Heaven..
Izabela doesn't use Magnolia stamps very often.. But when she does..
She does an amazing job..
