A Recipe Book..

What's Cooking?
Yeah.. That's our theme this week..

With the gorgeous Magnolia Recipe Card Collection 2017 released a few weeks ago there was no doubt what our DT Barbara was going to play with..
Let's see what she made..

A stunning recipe book handmade from top to bottom..

These are the projects we like!

There is a Maja Design Collection that holds all of these amazing blue patterned papers you see on here..

It's the fab Summertime Collection..

There's a special promotion going on in the store so these and many many other papers are now ON SALE..

As we said before Barbara used lots of amazing new Magnolia products for this book..

One of them is the cutest Edwin ever..

His name is Chef Edwin and Barbara coloured him with her Distress Inks..

The highlights are made with a Ranger White Opaque Pen and as always there's some Dina Wakley Gesso layed around..

Note that Barbara always uses the Distress Micro Glaze to seal her coloured images..

It's very easy to apply and dries to a smudge resistant, waterproof finish.. 

Several Magnolia Doohickeys were used on here, but the biggest one is the Recipe Card..
This one is great for card's bases too..

The other Magnolia dies our Barbara used are the following:
The Old Swedish Lace
Plate and Cutlery
Medallion & Cutting Board (Barbara coloured those with Distress Inks too)

Lots of trims dangling on the side..
Our white and blue Vintage Seam Binding, the Je t'aime Lace Trim and a bit of bakers twine to hold our beautiful Love Cup charm..

All the edges are machine sewn and Barbara pulled out one of the Pion Design 'oldies' to create the text behind Edwin..
It's the evergreen 12x12 Cut Out Sheet from the Studio of Memories collection..
Yeah.. That's the one with all those pretty butterflies..
And it's almost impossible to find since it's been discontinued by the manufacturer..
But we have some more.. Yes we do!

Get Well Soon..

Hello guys!

We from the Craft Heaven Shop DT are so excited to share with you some more inspiration today..
It's Susen's turn and here is a wonderful red/blue/white combo for you..

It's a more than stunning Get Well Soon card made with a Magnolia 'oldie' and lots and lots of supplies from our store..

Let's talk about the papers first..
Susen chose the Maja Design Sumertime 6x6 Paper Pad and the beautiful Pion Blue I and Pion Blue IV from the Pion Design Palette..

As I said before there are lots of our products around here..

Many, many stunning WOC flowers..

Open Roses, Cherry Blossoms, Sweetheart Blossoms, Wild Roses, Miniature Sweetheart Blossoms..

You name it, it's there..

Susen chose to use one of our gorgeous Damask Paper Straws as well and there's the lovely Sofa Charm hanging off it..

She used some cheesecloth and corrugated cardboard painted in Gesso under the image but she added one of our awesome 4'' Paper Doilies too..

The delightful trim on the left is our Lace Trim Je t'aime..

Two tags were hidden behind the image..
It's the Tilda Tag Magnolia Doohickey die with a bit of lace and twine on..
And a few nice words..

And one last look at it from the other side guys..

Be My Ladybug..

Hello, hello!

Another Friday is here already and we have our DT Susen with us once again with an amazing project..
How I Evolved is our weekly theme and that's how Susen's crafts changed in a few years..

This is the latest unbelievably gorgeous card she made..

And that's how she used this cute Tilda for the first time in 2012..

Big difference, right?

Like me, Susen started her colouring journey with Copics, but Distress Inks fit her like a glove..
Her colouring skills are simply amazing!!

There's a lot going on on here.. As usual..
Besides this stunning image you can see that she layered lots of things..

Some corrugated cardboard covered in Gesso..
A 4'' Doily..
Our gorgeous new Lace Trim Je t'aime..
A Wooden Heart Button..

And what about those sensational Scrapiniec chipboards??

She covered those in Gesso too..

All the papers you see on here are from Maja Design's Enjoying Outdoors 6x6 Paper Pad..

The purple solid paper behind the image is one of the Pion Design Palette sheets..

She tied some white Vintage Seam Binding on those tags on the left..

And here they are..
These are also a part of the Enjoying Outdoors paper pad..
They make such a wonderful detail..

And no.. I did not forget to mention all the marvelous WOC flowers..
Susen chose to combine some Open Roses, Sweetheart Blossoms, Wild Roses, Cherry Blossoms and Lilies this time..
