Little Pink Notebook..

Hey there!

Another week has come to an end and to finish it off in great style we are revealing another marvel from our amazing DT Susen..

This is her project for our Think Spring theme..
A gorgeous notebook that I'm sure everyone would like to own..

 This little marvel is handmade top to bottom..
The papers Susen chose are from the Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics 6x6 Paper Pad, the Pion Design Easter Greetings, Flower Frames and Where the Roses Grow collections and there is the Pion Pink I from the Pion Design Palette also..

A gorgeous detail well visible on this pic that we don't want you to miss is our stunning Lace Jacqueline here on the side..

Sunbathe Tilda from the SeaSide Collection 2016..

Coloured with Distress Inks and protected with a thin coat of Distress Micro Glaze..

The postmarks around her are two sets of Magnolia stamps..

One is called New York and the other Postcard..

The Just for You quote is one of the extraordinary Scrapiniec chipboards that we carry and it's covered in Gesso like the corrugated cardboard behind the image..

The inside is full of wonderful details too..

Susen made two pockets and both of them have the Old Swedish Lace die cut on the top edge and the Scalloped Tag Doohickey cut outs tucked inside..

Yess.. Each one of them holds a little note..

That wonderful and detailed doily back there can also be found in our store as well as the astonishing Vintage Seam Binding she tied on the side..

And one last thing..

All the flowers on here are from the WOC range..

Just beautiful..

The weekend is here.. Yay!
So.. How are you going to spend it?
Perhaps playing with some of our gorgeous supplies?
That would be fab, right?

While you prepare for it, we have another amazing inspirational post for you..
Here's what our DT Susen made for our Birds and Roses week..

Oh my.. Isn't this one of the most gorgeous cards she ever made??
I was blown away by all this beauty the second I saw it!

I'm sure you noticed straight away the stunning papers on here..
This is one of the newest Pion Design collections called The Songbird's Secret..
Gorgeous blue, green and yellow tones that just scream spring and happiness..

She's back..
Tilda with an Armful of Flowers from the SeaSide collection 2016..
Restocks of this and the other most wanted stamps expected the 28/02/2017.
Susen did some no-line colouring once again and used Distress Inks to colour her up and the Distress Micro Glaze to seal everything..
She cut the image out with a stitched oval die and placed a slightly bigger blue oval on the back of that..
That's another awesome Pion paper called Pion Blue II..

One of Susen's signatures is the corrugated cardboard covered in Gesso that she places behind the images and she loves to add that elegant touch with our 4'' Paper Doilies..

The outer border of the card is machine sewn and that's an awesome detail too..
A few pearls to bling it up a bit..
And of course some stunning Magnolia Doohickey tags with our Vintage Seam Binding tied on..

Another gorgeous piece from our Lace and Trims collection is the breathtaking Lace Rosalie..

The fence is from a Stamp&Cutz set called Cozy Fox & Fence and Susen added some tiny flowers on that and on the Scrapiniec chipboard branch too..

The flowers.. All from our WOC range..
Open Roses, Cherry Blossoms, Big Lily Flowers and Apple Blossoms..
The more, the better..

And a final shot with the two gorgeous Scalloped Tags pulled out.. Looooove..

Tilda with an Armful of Flowers..

It's me.. Tina.. And you will not believe it.. I am finally presenting something I made..

How long has it been?

Too long if you ask me..

I will be honest.. I was supposed to post this on Sunday for the Anything Goes theme but unfortunately I did not have the time to finish it..

Anyway.. I made it.. Finally!

A project I've been wanting to get done for so long..

So here we go..

A gorgeous Scrapiniec Shadow Box that I decorated with all sorts of things from our shop of course..

When I was making it I was thinking that this kind of project would make an amazing decoration in a kid's room..

It is meant to be hung on a wall.. Now I just need to put a hanger on the back..

You might have seen on my Facebook page that I started colouring this gorgeous image a while ago..

Now it's finally finished..

I coloured this Tilda with an Armful of Flowers from the SeaSide collection 2016 with my beloved Distress Inks..

The highlights on the image are made with a Ranger White Opaque Pen and the sparkly details with Stickles..

The dots around her are just Chunky White Frantage..

The stamped roses??

An absolute favourite of mine!

These are the Altenew Vintage Roses..

It was love at first sight and when I discovered how simple it was to use these I couldn't stop..

I used just 1 Distress Inks to make these and I did some simple and second and third generation stamping to achieve this unbelievably realistic effect..

If you would like to see a tutorial about this just let me know..

The die I used to cut out the image is a Spellbinders frame from the Floral Assortment set..

I tried to embellish as many surfaces as I could and I did use my sewing machine to do the stitches all around the paper pieces..

I also used a paper doily to give some more interest..

The papers are all from Pion Design..

One sheet from the Vintage Garden collection and two from the Paris Flea Market collection that is just to die for..

There are many many details on here..

I used a GoKreate behind the image..

Then some Magnolia Doohickeys like the gorgeous Tilda Tag and Chicken Wire..

I stamped the tags and fence from the Cozy Fox and Fence Stamp & Cutz set with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and the Magnolia Postcard set and the New York Set and an old Kort & Godt stamp I have..

The kraft paper is from Bazzil..

I put a bit of foam adhesive behind the fence to make it pop out more..

Then there is a little frame I made and the butterflies..

And all those marvelous WOC flowers all around with some cheesecloth under..

Some half-pearls to make it more sophisticated..

And the fabulous White Resin Roses..

The lace.. Our wonderful Lace Fleur..

An a cute little bronze charm called Romantic Key..

I did apply some Dina Wakley Gesso here and there and some half-pearls on the outside too..

I also gessoed some parts of the chipboard frame and left the rest just as is..

Then there's the back of the box..

Since it will be hanging somewhere I decided to make just a simple pocket when you can tuck in a nice message for the recipient..

The border I used is also a Magnolia die.. This one is pretty old but still one of my all time favourites..

It's called Old Swedish Lace..

Cute, isn't it?
