Lilly Christmas 2020 n°6

 Hello everybody,

I end the year with something that has been tempting me for a long time but that I had never done before: an explosion box !

To decorate my box, I used two very beautiful collections of Christmas papers that you can find in the shop: "Traditional Christmas" by Maja Design and Woodland Winter n°92 by Studio light.

The branches are cut from paper using different dies and the flowers are made from foamiran with the old Magnolia "Poinsettia" die.

Are you ready ???

This little skater Tilda is still a lot funnier in 3D than lying flat on a card !!

We don't see it much in the photo but the whole "ice rink" part is covered with Glossy Accent for more shine and realism. The "fir trees" part is covered with white Gesso and fake snow.

It's over for this year,
Kisses to all and see you next year!
Lilly

A Special Christmas Card

Good morning!  Today I'd lilke to share my favourite, and last, Christmas card of this year with you that I made for my parents inspired by a layout..  I have used the Tim Holtz Weathered Clock die for the base.  Sadly, the clock as it cuts out was not big enough for my requirements so I had a little brainwave - I cut a ring using large circle dies and then cut the numbers from the Tim Holtz die cut and added them to it.  Et voila!  A bigger weathered clock!  I have added Laserowe chipboard pieces behind the image on both sides.

I have added lots of gorgeous Christmas details around the Stempelglede photo stamp image.  The paper flowers were cut from Maja Design paper and I added a cherry blossom and snowflake charm from Craft Heaven.  The pine cones were made with a Tim Holtz die and the berries are polystyrene balls inked with Festive Berries Distress Ink.  I also added a Believe die cut and an embossed sentiment using the stamp from the Magnolia Northern Lights stamp set.

On the other side I have added some bells from Craft Heaven and a poinsettia made with white Foamiran and the Magnolia Poinsettia die.  The 25 was cut from several layers of kraft cardstock using Thinlits dies and layered up to resemble chipboard.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Lantern Tilda

Good afternoon!  I am back with another Christmas card to show you using Lantern Tilda by Magnolia, Magnolia Doohickeys and Maja Design papers.

As always I have painted Tilda with Distress Inks using the no lines technique.  I have added some Stardust stickles to the snow flakes and lantern light.   The card shape was cut with the frame die from Magnolia Vintage Box 4.

I have used the Slender Firs Doohickey, So Wrapped Merry Christmas tag and So Wrapped Snowflake tag along with cherry blossoms and roses.  The deer is from Magnolia Vintage Box 6.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Quick Christmas Cards

Good afternoon!  I have some quick and easy cards to share with you today using the gorgeous new Maja Design Christmas papers, Traditional Christmas, and Magnolia sentiment stamps.  All five cards took less than an hour - exactly what was needed when I had last minute cards to make at the weekend.  I love how they turned out though.  I just love round cards!

Each card is more or less the same: just a different sentiment and the stars are not all in the same places depending on where they fitted best with the sentiments.

All of the sentiments have been embossed with gold embossing powder.

I just love the cute little elves on these papers!  They are so cute that I cannot bring myself to use the accompanying cut out sheet with them on lol!

All of the edges have been inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

I hope you like them and thanks for looking!

Christmas Star Card

Good morning!  I have a special card to show you today that I made for a very good friend of mine using a Stempelglede stamp from the Christmas Rose stamp set.

I have painted the deer with Distress Inks.

I had great fun using lots of techniques on this card.  Behind the image is a Scrapiniec chipboard piece which I painted with Duck Egg Distress Paint and then added Gilding Flakes in bronze and gold to it here and there.

I also painted an angel decoration from my stash with same paint and gave it a rusty look with Prima Rust paints before adding Gilding Flakes and a touch of Glitter Snow.  The poinsettias were made from white Foamiran using the Magnolia poinsettia dies and gold stamens.

The bells and roses are from Craft Heaven and the mistletoe leaves have been cut with a Magnolia die too.  The straws are from my stash.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Santa Tilda/ Edwin

Ho Ho Ho Ho!!

Hi! Here I'm with one of my Christmas creations. The stamps from "Christmas collection 2020"
are really gorgeous. I have most of them and was really difficult to choose with wich one I can start.
The first stamp used is "Santa Tilda/Edwin".

All paper pads are from Maja Design collections. I made it using old paper pads, buth this year's collections are just beathtaking... again 😍

Dies used are almost all available in Tina's shop. There are:
"Slender Firs", "Recipe Card", "Chimney/Brik Wall" and dies from Vintage Box Vol. 14.

Tilda is coloured with Distress inks, sealted with Tim Holtz Distress Glaze. As usual I'v added some Gesso here and there.
I almost forgot... I added few half pearls and sparkles around this cute Santa..

Thank you for visiting!

Lilly Christmas 2020 n°5

 Hello everyone,

I stay in the blue and in this fabulous collection of papers from Maja Design: "Holiday in the Alps" with a small window card inspired by Jane ;) I used the "Lantern Tilda" stamp from the Christmas 2020 collection (whose hair I cut to make a boy)

Having not yet had the chance to get myself the new "Poinsettia" die of Magnolia before everyone threw themselves on it (it must be said that it looks reeeaally beautiful), I took out the old one and got myself. I have tried the technique of modeling flowers in Foamiran.

Come on, make way for the photos:

Believe

Good afternoon!  Today I have another Christmas card to show using the gorgeous new Maja Design papers and some cute dies.  I've used an old Magnolia stamp for the image - a gorgeous Santa.

As always I have used the no lines technique and painted Santa with Distress Inks.  I have added Stardust Stickles to his buckle, beard and some of the presents and bows.  I have also added Glitter Snow in drops to create the snow flurry.  How gorgeous is the 'believe' die cut from Tonic Studios?  I love it!

The tags were cut with the Woodland Tags heart shape - I love these and have used them a lot already.  Here I have made the exterior 'bark' white and the centre kraft cardstock to resemble pieces taken from a silver birch tree.  The 25 was cut with numbers from the Thinlits Elle Lower Case die set.  I am creating a December Daily with my daughter and we are using the set a lot!

I have also added vintage white seam binding and tiny bells from Craft Heaven.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!
