Christmas With Love from Paris

 Good morning!  I hope you have had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends!  I am a little late sharing my Craft Heaven post this morning, due to forgetting what day it is after the Christmas festivities lol!  This is the card I made for my husband this year.  I used some of the gorgeous papers from Maja Design's Joyous Winter Days collection.  These papers are so dreamy -  I love them!

 I painted the beautiful Tilda from the With Love From Paris kit that is now available to purchase if you missed it for the Online Magnolia Day.  As always, I painted Tilda with Distress Inks using the no lines technique.  I gave her red hair to match my own!  I also created the snowy background using Weathered Wood Distress Ink and used a white gel pen for the snow flakes.

The gorgeous lace and heart button are from the Craft Heaven store and I added some candy striped twine from my stash.

 The sentiment is cut from the bottom strip on another Maja Design paper - Blizzard.

 I used the postmark stamp from the With Love from Paris set, along with an older Magnolia post mark stamp, on the edges of the image mat.  I have created a faux stitching look around the edge of the image mat using my Tim Holtz die pick.

Wedding Bells..

Morning people!

Hope your Sunday is sunny and warm..
If not, seize the day and spend some quality time in your craft space..
Here's some more inspiration for you..
Once again this week our DT Susen and one of her splendid pieces of art..

Yep.. A wedding card..
Who wouldn't want to get something like this on their special day..

The Maja Design patterned paper is from the Vintage Spring Basics 6x6 Paper Pad..
The image.. A LOTV stamp coloured with Distress Inks and sealed with some Distress Micro Glaze..
The tiny white fragments on the couple are Chunky White Frantage..

There are lots of different WOC flowers placed around the image and some white Decorative Foam Bouquets as well..
A piece of corrugated cardboard covered in Gesso and some Magnolia border dies..
And the lace.. Our gorgeous Lace Fleur of course..

Two tags made with another wonderful Magnolia Doohickey called Bloomy Tag..
Each one holds a good wish for the lucky couple..
Susen tied some natural twine on them and used a cute metal charm too..
Some faux and real stitches around the edges always add that extra something..
And the sequins.. A little bit of sparkle never hurts, right?

For Your Very First Birthday..

Hey y'all!

Every Moment Matters

and I promised you a new creation of mine soon..

So it's me (DT Tina) who will be giving you some inspiration today..

This is my creation for this week..

A colleague at work asked me if I could make a precious little gift for her granddaughter's 1st Birthday so I made a card with one of my absolute favourite Magnolia images..

And some Maja Design papers of course..

This is Rose Cake Tilda from the BOHO Collection 2015..

I stamped her with Jet Black Archival Ink and coloured with Distress Inks..

If you are following my work on FB too you might have seen already a video on how I'm adding all those accents around..

A lot of accidents happened while I was working on that but as you can see it's all good in the end.. LOL!

I used  two more Magnolia stamp sets around the image and on the inside..

I'm talking about the Postcard and New York sets..

I used Memento Rich Cocoa to stamp those and I did some second generation stamping because I didn't want them to be too bold..

There are a lot of details on here and I did my best to make this gift as pretty as I could..

I used one of the most gorgeous Magnolia Doohickey's called Tilda Tag, then I tied some of our white Vintage Seam Binding on those..

Lots and lots of WOC flowers..

Different sizes and colours of half-pearls..

Paper doilies, the Balloon dies from one of the Magnolia Doohickey Club Kits..

Some twine and embellies that I made with my moulds..

Pearl string and Scrapiniec Chipboards..

Our Lace Fleur..

The Mini Doily Doohickey and an older Martha Stewart Punch on the back..

Gesso, embossing powders, Stickles and more..
