Happy B-Day..

Good morning everyone!

Are you ready to start a new fun theme over here at the Craft Heaven Shop Inspirational Blog?
We are!

This week I challenged the girls with a fun and interesting theme..
We named it How I Evolved..

Yep.. We all had to start somewhere..
This is our DT Barbara nowadays..

And that's how her cards looked in April 2011..

Big difference right?

We would love to see how YOU evolved..
Why don't you post a before and after pic on our Facebook page?
Or tag us on Instagram #craftheavenshop..
Come on! Join in the fun!

Now let's get back to Barbara's latest creation..

She used a GoKreate die for the card's base and the Vintage Square Doohickey for the layer on top of that..
The stunning detail on the upper left side is the Sakura Background.. A Magnolia die as well..

The papers..
From the latest Maja Design collection called Summertime..

One more thing she used.. A bit of our gorgeous Lace Marguerite on the sides..

She used this gorgeous Tilda from a few years ago..
The one on the ''old'' card is coloured with Copics but since Barbara discovered Distress Inks she fell in love with those and never let them go..

The highlights on the eyes were made with a Ranger White Opaque Pen and she did use a bit of the Distress Micro Glaze on top of the finished image to seal it..

Barbara simply couldn't resist and just had to use a Scrapiniec chipboard on here too..
She glued some paper on the back and added this cute sentiment made with a label maker..
Then she added some splashes of Gesso all around the place..

As you can see when it comes to Maja Design Papers there is not a single bit of those that you would want to throw away..
Look how amazing the paper edge bands on these sheets are..

Thanks for stopping by guys!
We are looking forward to seeing many of your ''evolution'' pics of FB and Instagram..

Hugs, Tina and the Craft Heaven Shop DT

  2. It's so nice to see the evolution either in the painting, or even in the decoration of the cards.
I like both cards from Barbara :)
