You Give me Butterflies..

Hello everyone!

Hope you had a great start to your day!
If not, we hope to brighten it a bit with this spectacular project and TUTORIAL from our DT Irene..
Yeah..
There's a fab colouring video at the end of this post too..

Our weekly theme is
April Showers bring May Flowers..
Let's see what our Irene made for you..

Guys.. She made a fabulous milk box!
But Irene had a partner this time..
Her Silhouette Cameo who cut this fun shape for her..

Do you recognize the patterned papers?
You are right!
This is the Maja Design Sofiero collection..
Irene used the 6x6 Paper Pad and there's no need to point out that these are all astonishing, right?

This beautiful Magnolia stamp is called Sitting Spring Tilda..
It's a part of the latest released It's Springtime collection 2017..

Irene stamped her with Jet Black Archival Ink and coloured with Distress Markers..

She made the highlights with a Ranger White Opaque Pen and like Barbara she loves to protect her beautifully coloured images with some Distress Micro Glaze..
She used another Magnolia stamp on here..
The postmarks are from a set called Postcard..

This box is gorgeous from every single angle and Irene made sure to take lots of pictures so we wouldn't miss any of the fabulous details..

First of all she closed the box with our superb Pink Vintage Seam Binding and had a play with some WOC flowers and Decorative Frosted Pomegranates, punched branches and butterflies..

Then she used one of the amazing Stempelglede stamp sets called Follow Your Heart and put this awesome sentiment on one of the sides..

Oh woww.. There's another one from the same set on the other side..
And a lot more flowers everywhere..

That rose image is just gorgeous..
Maja Design added another sheet to the new Sofiero edition..
It's called Ephemera and this is just one of the amazing motifs on it..

The Earth Laughs in Flowers..

Hello people!

Ready for a new weekly theme and lots of amazing inspiration from our design team?
April Showers bring May Flowers..
This is DT Barbara's take on this theme..

Here is another spectacular card from her..

Of course she had to use the freshly reprinted Maja Design Sofiero collection but in addition to those she decided to try the brand new collection called Monochromes - Shades of Sofiero..

Let me tell you a little something about those..

These amazing papers are printed single color papers with one shade on each side..

One lighter and one darker..

They have a white core which makes them exquisite to emboss, sand or tear for great effect on any of your crafty projects..

They come in the same quality as all Maja Design papers.. This collection consists of twelve different shades (two on each sheet) and they are all a prefect match to the Sofiero collection..

So.. You don't have any?

I think you need them!

Tilda with Dotted Boots from the amazing It's Springtime Collection 2017..

Barbara coloured this beauty with Distress Inks and sealed the image with some Distress Micro Glaze..

The higlights on the eyes were made with a Ranger White Opaque Pen..

And the text stamp?

One of the remarkable stamps from the Stempelglede Post Card From Paris set..

There are lots of wonderful elements on here..

The splendid WOC Magnolias, Open Roses, Tulips and Hip Rosebuds along with some white Decorative Foam Bouquets..

The green leaves made with the Parsley & Rocket Salad Magnolia die..

A bit ouf our beautiful Lace Francine peeking on the sides and the most striking detail of all just has to be the breathtaking Button ''Trésor''..

Our Barbara decided to make a square card for a change but she still felt the need to use some shaped rectangles to add more interest..

The bigger one is from the Vintage Square Doohickey set and she used one of the Rounded Frames and Tags to cut the image out..

The paper edges are machine sewn and there's one of our cute Heart Clips up there also..

One last thing..

You Stole my Heart..

Happy Sunday lovely people!

Our DT Barbara was pretty busy this week so we decided to post her amazing
Pearls for You
project with a bit of delay..

The base of the card and middle layer were both cut out with the splendid Magnolia Vintage Square Doohickey set and this whole project is about soft white and peachy tones..
What a great colour combo..

The papers are from Maja Design's Summertime collection and one sheet is from the Pion Design Easter Greetings collection..
Just wanna remind you that these are ON SALE now!!

Here is Cause I Love You Tilda from the Lovely Emojis Collection 2017..
Barbara coloured her with Distress Inks and since the weekly theme is all about pearls she decided to attach some around her too..

The higlights are made with a Ranger White Opaque Pen and the image is sealed with some Distress Micro Glaze..

The script accents around the image were made with one of the stamps from the Stempelglede Post Card from Paris set..

Barbara loves using her sewing machine on her projects so she made all those stitches around all the paper layers except for one..

A doily is peeking out on the sides and there's our Lace Claire on top of that..

Two straws on the bottom and some gorgeous WOC flowers and Decorative Foam Bouquets around..

Hints of Gesso all over the place..

More pearls.. Of course..

And Barbara did her magic once again..
