Daily Calender for 2018

Good Morning everyone,

 

today I'm back with a new inspiration for you. This time I made a daily calender to hang on the wall.

The lovely image is a digital stamp from Saturated Canary. It was a freebie  which was send with an older newsletter.

I coloured her with my Distress Inks.

 

 

The pretty patterned papers are from Majas 6''x6'' and 12''x12'' collection. I really love those soft colours and like to make such girlie projects. As you might know I (almost) always use corrugated cardboard on my projects. It brings more depth in my cards or projects. I covered it with white Gesso.

 

 

Under the image I put a piece of a paper straw. Unfortunately I havn't a perfect pattern for my calender and that's why I glued a piece of a matching patterned paper from Maja around the straw. Looks great, or?  On the straw I binded a little Woodn Heart Button.

Maybe you have noticed the little shining on her cheeks and lips? Here I used my Wink of Stella pen.

Attention! Calorie bomb..

Hey everyone!

We are having some serious handmade box madness going on here lately..
Today it's our sweet DT Susen who decided to go with a box as her inspirational project..
What can I say.. It's stunning as all of her makes..

This is a fairly simple project but with some striking elements that makes it so amazing..
Susen used her Silhouette Cameo machine to cut out the box..
Then she took one of her fave 6x6 Maja Design paper pads and added a touch of colour..
She chose the Coffee in the Arbour collection this time..

The stamp is from Lili of the Valley and Susen coloured the cute little bear with Distress Inks..

She sealed the image with a tiny bit of Distress Micro Glaze..

Then she used a stitched circle to cut it out and a scalloped circle to put underneath that..

A Magnolia die is peeking out of there also.. It's the Mini Doily Doohickey..

Then there's a 4'' Paper Doily..

And a paper rosette on the very bottom..

These are really simple to make..

It's basically a folded stripe of paper but check out the amazing effect you can achieve with them..

She also picked some wonderful WOC flowers and placed them around the image along with a cute Wooden Heart Button covered in Frantage..

The splashes of Gesso around the paper edges are a must..

Susen then used some more designer papers on the lid and left the bottom part of the box as is..
Except for a little hint that says that it contains something to devour..

There's a warning on the other side too..
Attention.. Calorie bomb.. LOL!

Who knows what Susen's putting in it..
I'm sure it will be something yummy..
Yummy as this box..

Sweet Deer..

Good morning people!

As promised we are back with a stunning project from our DT Susen..
We know Christmas is over, but this was just too pretty not to be shown and it fits like a glove our Winter Wonderland theme..
You know what?
You might want to save this as an idea for next Christmas..
I really love it!

Our Susen always makes pretty gifts for her loved ones and this is one of them..
An Advent calendar that anyone would love to get..

All the papers you see on here are from Maja Design, except for one..
The Pion Red II from the Pion Design Palette that she used for those cute little hearts..
All the others come from the amazing I Wish collection and Susen used a 12x12 sheet and the 6x6 Paper Pad..
You might recognize the snowmen down there..
Yeah.. These are the same guys our Irene used yesterday..

The Merry Christmas sentiment stamp is from Magnolia and so is the Sweet Deer image on the right..
Susen coloured the deer with Distress Inks and added some fun accents around..

The image is from the Stamp & Cutz Collection 2016 and if you don't know it, you get a stamp and a Doohickey die in each of these sets..
So awesome!
The deer was paired with a Blueberry die..

There's some lace behind the image and one of our Wooden Heart Buttons covered in Gesso..

The fake postal stamp is from the I Wish 6x6 Paped Pad too and the stripe with the snowmen is just one of the edge bands of the 12x12 sheets..
That Bark Star up there is an awesome detail and so is the natural twine Susen used for the drawer handles..
Let's not forget all the half-pearls laying around..

What would you hide in those 4 little drawers?
I will have to ask our Susen how she filled hers..

Let Your Greatness Bloom..

Good morning people!

Here we are with a new creation from our DT Susen..

She made a fun an easy-to-make project this time..

It's a romantic and elegant milk box..
You can find tons of templates for these on the web and they can be such a nice and simple gift for so many occasions..
You just need a gorgeous sheet of paper and a few embellies and you are ready to go..

Our Susen used several Magnolia Doohickeys once again..
She picked the Orchids, Vintage Flowers & Leaf and the Sakura Background..
One of our white Frosted Pomegranates is there as well..

The final touches are the super cute Wooden Heart Button, a bit of Dina Wakley Media Gesso here and there and some half pearls..
Easy peasy, right?

As for the closure..
You can use one of the amazing Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Hinge Clips..
Soooo perfect for that..

Be My Ladybug..

Hello, hello!

Another Friday is here already and we have our DT Susen with us once again with an amazing project..
How I Evolved is our weekly theme and that's how Susen's crafts changed in a few years..

This is the latest unbelievably gorgeous card she made..

And that's how she used this cute Tilda for the first time in 2012..

Big difference, right?

Like me, Susen started her colouring journey with Copics, but Distress Inks fit her like a glove..
Her colouring skills are simply amazing!!

There's a lot going on on here.. As usual..
Besides this stunning image you can see that she layered lots of things..

Some corrugated cardboard covered in Gesso..
A 4'' Doily..
Our gorgeous new Lace Trim Je t'aime..
A Wooden Heart Button..

And what about those sensational Scrapiniec chipboards??

She covered those in Gesso too..

All the papers you see on here are from Maja Design's Enjoying Outdoors 6x6 Paper Pad..

The purple solid paper behind the image is one of the Pion Design Palette sheets..

She tied some white Vintage Seam Binding on those tags on the left..

And here they are..
These are also a part of the Enjoying Outdoors paper pad..
They make such a wonderful detail..

And no.. I did not forget to mention all the marvelous WOC flowers..
Susen chose to combine some Open Roses, Sweetheart Blossoms, Wild Roses, Cherry Blossoms and Lilies this time..
