Sweet Treats

 Good morning!  I am back with another card for Craft Heaven DT using lots of gorgeous Magnolia goodies.  I have used papers by Maja Design.

I have painted Cotton Candy Tilda with Distress Inks using the no lines technique as always.  I have added Startdust Stickles to the candy floss and the heart on her t-shirt.

 I have used two tiers of the cake Doohickey from Volume 5 and topped it with a butterfly from the papers.

 I have used ruffle trim from my stash along with pale pink roses and ivory resin roses from Craft Heaven.

 I have used the pennant flags Doohickey from Volume 5 along the top of the card.

 The clock face and hands are from one of the recent Magnolia Pop Up boxes.  I made the little pin wheels myself but Magnolia also do a fantastic Doohickey die to make lace edged ones!  It is on my wish list!

Home Sweet Home

Good morning!  Today I'd like to share a 'New Home' card featuring the super cute My Own Key Tilda from the You Are Invited collection.  The gorgeous papers I've used are all from Maja Design's new Celebration collection.

 As always I have painted Tilda with Distress Inks using the no lines technique.  I've also added dots to her cheeks and top with a white gel pen.  I have used two different post mark stamps from Magnolia on the edges of the image.

 I've used lots of Doohickey dies on my card.  This gorgeous sign from kit 4, Le Jardin seemed perfect to use as a for sale/sold sign, but now it says Home Sweet Home instead of sold!  Notice the two colour stamping on the sentiment?  Yes, I couldn't resist using my Tim Holtz Stamping Platform again!  I've added some tiny pearls over the stamped screw heads.

 How cute is the little key and house key fob?  I've joined them with some blue twine.  I've also given the lock some pearl 'screws'.  All three Doohickeys are from the You are Invited collection too.

 I created a little envelope with the medium Vintage Photo Frame Doohickey and popped a resin rose from Craft Heave on the flap.

 The window from Doohickey kit 4 also came in handy for this house themed card!

 I've used my favourite Bloomy Tag Doohickey and added white seam binding.

 Hanging from the tag is the House Tag Doohickey and a key Doohickey from last year's Advent Calendar.

 I used the cut out bricks from the House Tag to add extra interest to the house!

All You Need is an Ice Cream..

Good day lovely followers!

Another week has come to an end and we wanna finish it with an amazing project from our DT Liz..
She decided to make a super cute ice cart for our Welcome Summer theme..

Can you believe that she only used one gorgeous sheet of paper for this projects?
It's the Spring Fairies 6x6 sheet from the Easter Greetings collection..
These Pion Design papers are just fantastic..
The sheet's size is 12x12 but you get 4 amazing coordinating designs on it..

Liz used our gorgeous peach Damask Paper Straws..
And there are lots of different Scrapiniec chipboard elements on this project..
This one here is just the top layer of the Royal Small Decors..

Lots of beautiful flowers on here..
WOC Chrysanthemums and Open Roses and
our stunning pink and white Resin Roses..
And a Small Rosette in the corner..

One of the Hanging Signs..
She added some Liquid Pearls here and there also..

Spring Rain Tilda..

Happy Thursday everyone!

We are back with another creation for our weekly theme that is Name Your Technique this time..
And our DT Irene chose watercolouring..

This time Irene decided to use some gorgeous Pion Design papers..
Some from the Easter Greetings collection and some from the lovely Paris Flea Market one..
We could say that she decided to do some layering also as this creation is full of layers and tons of amazing embellishments..

Let me introduce you Spring Rain Tilda..
One of the latest Magnolia images from the Spring Fever Collection 2016..

Yes.. Our Irene chose watercolouring as her technique..
But this time she did not use her beloved Distress Inks but opted for Derwent watercolour pencils instead..
The higlihgts were made with the Ranger White Opaque Pen as usual..

 Lots and lots of details on here..
The Blue Decorative Foam Bouquets are here.. As well as some Off-White Decorative Frosted Pomegranates..
Then there's a Melissa Frances frame from the Edwardian Applique Set..
One of our White Resin Roses..
Some pearl trim..

The WOC flowers are there.. A pastel Magnolia, some Cosmos Daisies and Chrysanthemums..
There's also another special flower there.. One of the awesome Melissa Frances Spring Sprung flowers..

A bit of Antique Yellow Vintage Seam Binding is tied here one the left..
Then there's a doily, a Love Cup charm, some twine, the gorgeous butterflies cut out of one of the Pion sheets..
A million awesome things..

Irene added a bit of Gesso on the flowers and some parts of the paper but she also felt the need to use some chipboard as you can see..
